The ultimate goal of Passion for Knowledge - Quantum 13 is promoting science as a key activity for progress, as well as a cultural activity, establishing connections between scientists and the rest of citizens, and fostering the participation of the public in the dissemination of science.

Following the spirit of previous Passion for Knowledge the highlight is a series of Lectures open to general public, offered by prestigious scientists and distinguished figures from different disciplines, cultures and thinking. However, the festival offers much more to the public, there is also a Naukas Quantum session in collaboration with the popular online science communication platform, Video Exhibitions in different places along the city, and even the premiere of a Theatre Play that explores very actual topics such as the importance and accountability of scientific research, and its relationship with society.
